North Babylon High School’s Bria Hartley Named to 2010 McDonald’s All American Team
North Babylon McDonald’s welcomes Bria on Wednesday, April 7th for Bria Hartley Night!
April 5, 2010 - Huntington, NY – North Babylon McDonald’s located at 1255 Deer Park Avenue (in Pathmark Shopping Center), welcomes and congratulates Bria Hartley, her coach, team mates and family on Wednesday, April 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m by offering 50¢ Cheeseburgers to customers during this 3 hour time period!
Bria Hartley of North Babylon High School in North Babylon joined the ranks of basketball’s elite with her selection to the prestigious 2010 McDonald’s All American H.S Basketball® Girls Team. Hartley was named to the East squad, and played with 23 other top female high school basketball players in the country on March 31st. Hartley’s participation in the Games that took place on March 31st, helped raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, which supports local children and families in need.

The Girls Game was played as a part of a double header alongside the 33rd annual McDonald’s All American Boys Game. The game tipped off at 5:30 p.m ET on Wednesday, March 31st at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio and was broadcast live on ESPNU. All proceeds from ticket sales benefitted Ronald McDonald House Charities
of Central Ohio.
McDonald’s All American alumni include Seimone Augustus (Minnesota Lynx) and Candace Parker (Los Angeles Sparks) who made history at the 2004 McDonald’s All American Games when she became the first woman to win the slam dunk contest at the Powerade Jam Fest. Former and current NBA superstars include Alonzo Mourning, Magic Johnson, Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James.
