Half Hollow Hills West High School’s Tobias Harris Named to 2010 McDonald’s All American Basketball Team®

33rd Anniversary of the McDonald’s All American High School Basketball game to Air Live on ESPN from Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio
March 17, 2010 - Huntington, NY – Commack McDonald’s located at 2 Vanderbilt Parkway welcomes and congratulates Tobias Harris, his coach, team mates, and family for a McDonald’s style celebration on Thursday, March 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tobias Harris of Half Hollow Hills West High School in Dix Hills joined the ranks of basketball’s elite today with his selection to the prestigious 2010 McDonald’s All American H.S Basketball Boys Team. Harris’ participation in the Games will help raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, which supports local children and families in need.
Harris was named to the East squad, and will play with the 23 other top male high school basketball players in the country.

The Boys Game will tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, March 31st at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio and will air live on ESPN. The Girls Game will get underway at 5:30 p.m. ET and will broadcast live on ESPNU. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio.
Since 1977, over 750 male players have competed in the McDonald’s All American Games, forming an elite list that reads like a “Who’s Who” in basketball history. McDonald’s All American athletes include basketball greats Alonzo Mourning, Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant.
